Cadet Super Sunday Series
Sunday saw the last of the 2021 Cadet Super Sunday series of the year and the first of its kind for BSC. What a big hit this event has become to all the participating cadet's in the Optimists, Toppers and Fevas. Typically 30+ boats have been taking part in each series and on some occasions 40+ boats.
Everyone has loved this new style of sprint racing at Cutmill. There has been some incredibly exciting races throughout in some very varied conditions from freezing cold temperatures in April to big gusty winds in June and some fairly light winds in between. Well done to all the cadets who took part in the event and huge thanks to all 17 volunteers that have been needed for each series to help make the event run so smoothly and efficiently. Some of these volunteers have helped every time so a special thanks to you.
The cadets smiley happy faces and being able to observe the progress made throughout the series including some fantastic personal achievements has been an absolute pleasure to witness. The final results from the 2021 Super Sunday Series can be found here. Prizes will be given at the annual end of the year prize giving.
