Bosham Reach Talks - Weds 26th January 18:00 (tonight on Zoom)
'A Screaming Reach Through Sailing History' by David J. Elliott
There's never been a consolidation of sources of information about sailing. It is an equipment-based sport within which each type of equipment has had its time of popularity and Britain has been at the forefront of design and production from the very beginning, has been responsible for many of the major international events and attracted more than its fair share of 'characters'.
The issues that BNYA has to deal with include the challenges of discovery - especially in the digital age, the technical challenges of a digital archive and tools for navigating the sources to locate relevant information.
Further details including the link will be sent via the emailed newsletter.
