Feva Harbour Race Series
Bosham, Itchenor and Hayling Island Sailing Clubs are pleased to invite all Feva sailors from the Chichester Harbour clubs to join in the Feva Harbour Race Series. Racing will take place in Chichester Harbour on the dates listed below, with hosting clubs providing committee boats and safety cover.
26th & 27th Oct - Harvest Races - Hosted by BSC
18th & 19th Dec - Solstice Races - Hosted by ISC
26th & 27th Mar - Spring Races - Hosted by ISC
14th & 15th April - Easter Races - Hosted by HISC
Sailors are welcome to register for any number of racing days. Prizes will be awarded for individual sets of races plus for the complete series.

A warm welcome to Helen Muir-Davies who joins the Staff Team in The Accounts Department.

Bosun
The club is delighted to announce that Robert Lavender will be joining us as Bosun, with effect from 1st November. Many of you will have seen or interacted with Rob already this season in his role with Chichester Harbour Conservancy as seasonal patrol officer. In recent weeks he has been stationed on the Quay and has been even more visible to members.
As well as his Harbour patrol, maintenance and customer service experience, Rob is a dinghy and paddle-sport instructor with experience working at CYE Sailing Centre where he also maintained dinghies and grounds.
Rob's primary responsibilities will be to manage and oversee the use and maintenance of the on-the-water assets and equipment to support all watersports activities at the club.
In addition he will lead the patrol boat provision for racing. He will be a friendly and helpful presence for all our members. Please make him very welcome.
BSC Friday Supper Returns
Come and join your fellow members on Friday 15 October for a drink and delicious food at BSC.
If you are attending individually you can book the 'Club Table', reserved exclusively and including your first drink on the house! Wherever possible the table will be hosted by the Commodore or a Flag Officer.

Cadet & Parent Half Term Halloween Socials
Dates for your diary! There are a number of socials coming up over half term for all ages providing a relaxed and fun opportunity to catch up with friends and family as well as the chance to meet some new members too!

BSC Roast Dinners Return
Sunday 3rd October saw the BSC roast dinner once again served in the clubhouse.
It was great to see the Clubhouse busy with good conversation and delicious food.

BSC Club Draw - Saturdays
The excitement of the Club Draw is back!
Make sure you are in the bar on Saturdays between 7:30 & 8:30pm. All current members over 16 have been entered.
Please remember that to win the prize, you must be in the club when the draw takes place.
BSC 50/50 Lottery 8 October
Lyn, Sharon and the lucky lottery barrel will be at the club on Friday October 8 at 7.30 to draw the September lottery winners.
