There have been great results from our cadets in recent weeks at a couple of high profile regattas.

At the British Youth Sailing South Regional Championships at Oxford:

  • 2nd in the Feva XL Championship Fleet for Ed Upton-Brown and Scarlet Gladman.
  • 9th and first female in the Optimist Championship Fleet for Pippa Shepherd.
  • 3rd and 9th in the Topper 4.2 Championship Fleet for Benjy and Jack Gardner.
  • And 8th in the Optimist Regatta Fleet for Oscar Stephens.

These results and representation for Bosham Sailing Club at this regatta have helped maintain our BYS Recognised Club status for 2023/24, which acknowledges commitment to the development of junior and youth racing and race training and alignment to the BYS Values and Behaviours.

At Schools Week at Itchenor Sailing Club, the kids are representing their schools, and there was a strong BSC presence in an entry of 105 Fevas. The club Fevas and race sails were used to full effect in what was a windy two days of sailing.
