Bosham Reach Wednesday 3rd November - Guardian of the Gulf 2019
We are delighted to be hosting Bosham Reach again starting next week on Wednesday Nov 3rd with a talk from Cdr Will King OBE RN titled 'Guardian of the Gulf 2019'
We will send out the Zoom link and details next week. Cdr Will King plans to speak from the club house for those that prefer to be in person. We will also share via Zoom.
Golden rowing opportunity
We have a special opportunity for all BSC members. Peter Haining, MBE three-time World Lightweight Sculling Champion who competed for Great Britain and England and soon to be a Club member, is volunteering to run rowing sessions at the Club.
This will mean we will be able to put on more rowing sessions during the week and the weekend. Those of you who have been keen to give it a go can and for regular rowers an opportunity to meet Peter and get some advice on your own rowing - be it recreational or more serious rowing.
On the whole it's a time of year that fleets are furling sails for the season, rowing however with the right conditions will continue throughout so it's the perfect time to give it a try without it interfering with sailing and enable you to continue getting out on water.
Peter is going to be at the Club on Sunday 31st October from 10am - Laura will be around as well. We're looking to spend some time with you on land and then get you out on Valiant in the water. It will be short taster sessions. Even if you're not ready to fully commit do come and say hello and ask any questions you might have.

BSC Film Night is back!
Film Night is back on Monday 1st November! We are showing the original (and best) 1968 version of The Thomas Crown Affair, starring Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway and including the notorious chess game.

Before Attending Events at BSC
We recommend that you carry out a lateral flow test before attending any events at Bosham Sailing Club.
If you have a positive result or feel unwell, please do not attend any events.

The beautifully weaved BSC Bobble Hat will be a must on the Christmas list of even the most discerning - seeing your loved ones through the winter months in style. And if you're still keen to enjoy some outdoors time or just snuggle up on the sofa the BSC blanket is an absolute must.
Logistics are a bit fraught currently - so stock levels are a moving feast, as such all orders are subject to availability we don't want to encourage panic buying but please do get your orders in quickly to avoid disappointment! You can order online here or with the office.

Scottish Dancing - Tonight from 19:30
We will dance a few favorites and learn a couple of new dances.
All ages welcome and don't worry if you have never done any, you will soon learn, have some fun and some exercise too!
