Optimist Nationals at Pwllheli in North Wales

Between the 3rd to 8th of August, 5 BSC Oppie Sailors took part in the Nationals at Pwllheli in North Wales.

With over 250 boats across 4 fleets, it was a very windy and waves experience with gusts up to 30 knots and 2-3m seas.

Although very challenging, all 5 sailors did an amazing job and should be mighty proud of their efforts.

Results are as follows;

Rufus Evans in Coached Regatta - 22nd out of 45.

Florence Evans in Racing Regatta - 27th out of 39.

Oscar Stephens in Junior Main - 57th out of 75.

Finn Kameen in Junior Main - 64th out of 75.

Pippa Shepherd in Senior Main - 22nd out of 88 (and third GBR Girl).
