Pursuit Race and BBQ supporting the work of Prostate Cancer UK

A massive thanks to all those who contributed this week at the PCUK fundraiser, on Bank Holiday Monday 25th at BSC. Over £1000 was raised for the Charity!

Around 55 boats were out on the water for the Pursuit Race, which saw champagne sailing conditions and was thoroughly enjoyed by all. A Chichester Scow was leading for over an hour of the race, being overtaken by a Mirror in the last 15 minutes - only for both of them to be passed by faster boats in the final couple of minutes of the race.

Congratulations to Paddy Mirams and Paul Kameen (1st Place), Brian Nixon and George Gardner (2nd Place) & Nigel and Isabelle Russell (3rd Place).

The fantastic BBQ to follow created a real buzz on the terrace and included a raffle, jazz band and dancing.

A big BSC thank you to all those who helped this event happen and to those who generously donated to the amazing work that PCUK carry out.
