Bosham Primary School Taster Sailing Sessions for Year 6 pupils Autumn term 2024

On Monday 23 September, 12 children from Bosham Primary School came to BSC for a taster sailing session. For many of the children it was their first introduction to sailing. Enormous fun was had on 3 Bahias with their instructors who introduced them to key parts of the boat and points of sail. All children had a go on the jib and some had the chance to helm too. The session culminated in a race around Cutmill which was hugely enjoyed by all.

The next taster session for the primary school children is on Friday 11 October. After this it is hoped that the children will enrol onto the RYA Stage 1 lessons which are scheduled in the summer term and will be subsidised by BSC and Bosham Youth Sailing Fund.
