Cadet Super Sunday Series New for 2021 This is a series of short sprint races for Optimists, Toppers and Fevas over 5 Sundays during the season and when we are allowed to do so, it will be combined with some socials too. The first one is on 11 April save the date! Cadet Duties
Any cadet aged 16 years plus must do a minimum of 1 duty per year (more if you are sailing regularly). To sign up, the cadet needs to have a personal email address (not a school email address) registered with BSC so that cadet member login details can be issued. Signing up for duties as well as accessing other member information can then be obtained. Please contact the BSC office if your cadet does not have an email address registered. Please remember that the deadline for volunteering for duties is 28 March.
NB - there is a fantastic opportunity for a cadet to learn the ropes of being part of the race management team on 17 April and 2 May alongside Alison Garrett. If a cadet is interested in doing this, please sign up asap!

Booze and Boats
Bob Marchant is long established advertising photographer who many years ago got a fascination with all things water after taking up sailing and scuba diving.
He's picked up some awards on the way, but firmly believes that serendipity has always had a big hand in his career.
He now specialises in high speed liquid photography mostly for the drinks business and, on a slightly different scale, the photography of superyachts.
This will be an often rambling talk ranging from the solving of imaginative briefs from drinks clients through to the sheer joy of hanging out of a helicopter to capture running shots of big boats.
During the course of the talk he will also be covering the transition from film photography to digital capture and how it has affected the professional photographer.
He'll be more than happy to answer any questions so please feel free to do so.
A zoom link will be sent out to members via email the day of the talk.
