Bosham Primary School Collaboration

On Friday 26th and Monday 29th September, BSC welcomed twelve Year 6 pupils from Bosham Primary School to take part in taster sailing sessions fully funded by Bosham Youth Sailing Fund (YSF).This was the first time the majority of these pupils have had the opportunity to get out on the water and from all the smiles, laughter and general banter, they clearly had a fantastic time.

This collaboration with the school will continue next summer with a week in June when all the Year 6 pupils will be invited to have the chance to further their sailing with opportunity to take their RYA stage qualifications which will be heavily subsidised by the YSF.

In addition, to assist the pupils with their confidence in the water, the YSF has agreed to partially fund swimming lessons for pupils in years 3 & 4 who will be the future children for sailing at BSC. Due to lack of funding, school swimming lessons have not been able to take place over the last year, so the YSF is delighted to help.
