Cruiser Race Weekend

The Cruisers were out racing the week-end before last for two days of competitive and exciting sailing.

It was a thoroughly enjoyable week-end, with a Saturday race from Chi buoy to No Man's Land Fort and back and a sunny Sunday race around the cans outside the Harbour.

Congratulations to Mike and Helen Smith from CCRC in Celebration, a Hustler SJ30, who won both days and overall.

On Sunday, George Kent in Selene came from the back of the fleet at the start of the last beat to come second, beating Martin Thomas in Charm of Rhu by 10 seconds.

Overall, Martin Thomas in Charm of Rhu came second and Emily Kidd in Water Bear was third.
