Head of the Harbour Race
On Sunday 1st October, the Bosham Belles took part in the inaugural Three Harbours Rowing "Head of the Harbour" race - a five mile sprint from Northney Marina to HISC. 20 boats took part, against one of the biggest tides of the year, with Valiant and her crew coming a very creditable 13th.
Guided walk with the Birdman of Bosham! Sunday 8th October
Join local ornithologist Hugh Baggaley for a guided walk around the harbour in Bosham to discover the remarkable array of birds found here. On the walk you will learn about the lives and habits of our different birds, as well as learning how to find and identify the different species. For more details and to book please follow this link.
Shopping & Lunch event - Friday 6th October
Please pop along to BSC on Friday between 10am and 3pm, where lots of local independent stall holders will be selling their wares, and the Syrian Kitchen will be selling lunches to eat on the terrace, or to take away. If you need to drive, please park in the village car park. Entry is £3 - please bring cash.
BSC Scottish Reeling - Wednesday 11th October
Join us for our first reeling practice of the year! Meet at 19:30 at BSC, finish at 22:00. The bar will be open until 21:30.
There is no dress code. No need to book. The vibe is friendly, fun, social and encouraging. We would love to see you!
Our future practice dates are the 8th November, 13th December and the 10th January. All of this culminates with our Burns Night event on the 27th January!
Racing - volunteers still needed
We may be getting near the end of the main sailing season but there is plenty of racing still to come. For that we are in need of race officers, assistant race officers, race recorders, patrol drivers and patrol crew. In particular if anyone is available for any of those roles for either this Sunday 8 Oct or next Saturday 14 Oct, please sign up for duties by following this link. Thank you.
Friday Supper and Lottery Draw - 13th October

Friday the 13th lucky for some!
The next 50/50 lottery draw happens on October 13th at 7.30pm. Despite the myths of this unfortunate date, three people will be smiling!
Halloween Family Supper - 28th October
Please come along to the BSC Family Halloween Supper on Saturday 28th October from 17:30. There will be some fun cadet Halloween games taking place during the evening too which will be organised by the Cadet Committee. Suitable for all ages. To see the menu and book please follow this link.
