Upcoming sailing at the Club
We have a busy few weekends of sailing ahead before moving into the Autumn Series! Coming up over the next 3 weekends we have:
- CDB 12 and Oppie racing on the 14th October.
- Relaxed Racing and Scows, and final Cadet Super Sunday on the 15th October.
- CDB Trafalgar Cup and more Oppie racing on the 21st October.
- Harbour series and Scows on the 22nd October.
- Bitter End and Bitter Sweet Trophies on the 28/29th October.

BSC Scottish Reeling - Wednesday 11th October
Join us for our first reeling practice of the year!
Meet at 19:30 at BSC, finish at 22:00. The bar will be open until 21:30.
There is no dress code. No need to book. The vibe is friendly, fun, social and encouraging.
We would love to see you!
Our future practice dates are the 8th November, 13th December and the 10th January. All of this culminates with our Burns Night event on the 27th January!
Shopping & Lunch event - Friday 6th October
Thank you to everyone who came along last Friday to support the shopping and lunch event. Together, we raised nearly £900 for St Wilfrid's Hospice, and the Syrian Kitchen sold out in record time.

With prizegiving season fast approaching, here are some dates for your diary:
- BSC Cruiser & Boatless Cruiser Dinner & Prizegiving - 4th November.
- Classic Dayboat Dinner and Prizegiving - 18th November.
- Chichester Scow Dinner and Prizegiving - 2nd December.
- Dinghy Prizegiving - 9th December
- Cadet 2023 Season Prizegiving - 6th January.
Friday Supper and Lottery Draw - 13th October

Friday the 13th lucky for some!
The next 50/50 lottery draw happens on October 13th at 7.30pm. Despite the myths of this unfortunate date, three people will be smiling!
Rowing at BSC this Autumn
Rowing continues through the Autumn and Winter and there are fun Rows every Saturday morning from 10.00 - 12.00 - just book here for this Saturday. We also run regular coached rowing sessions during the week, which you can book onto on our website. If you are interested in learning to cox, Peter Haining is running cox coaching sessions on the 15th and 29th October, please book here for the 15th and here for the 29th.
Rugby World Cup Quarter Finals
Join us at the club for the Rugby World Cup quarter finals this weekend! We will be showing the following matches:
- Wales vs Argentina. 16.00 Saturday.
- Ireland vs New Zealand. 20.00 Saturday.
- England vs Fiji. 16.00 Sunday.
