Committee Boat Familiarization
There are almost 60 racing days in 2022 when Glad Emma is expected to be in use for racing.
This training session (9th April from 14:00) is for race teams to familiarize themselves with the safe and practical operation of the committee boat and the CB race procedures.
The session is free but please book your place online here.
Harbour Cruise 14th June
We are planning to host a cruise to explore our beautiful Harbour on Tuesday 14 June.
Scheduled around high tide to ensure easy access on and off the quay, this is an outing for those members who don't have a boat but would like to get on the water. Retired members and guests of members are all very welcome. Club and Flag Officer launches will be used.
If you are interested in taking part please contact RC Cruisers at RCCruisers@boshamsailingclub.com.
Youth Fund Boat Jumble
The BSC Youth Fund Boat Jumble last weekend was a great success raising a fantastic £3000 - this will now be available to support youngsters to achieve their sailing goals and enable some, who would otherwise not have the opportunity, to discover how exciting sailing can be.
Apart from the jumble sale, we were lucky enough to have a professional auctioneer who really ramped up the atmosphere of the event.
The trustees would like to thank all those who donated jumble, boats and other nautical items, the kind volunteers who worked tirelessly and all those who came.
If you know of a worthy young sailor, or group of potential sailors, who could benefit from a grant, please do get in touch with the trustees: Peter Lacey, Tim Reynolds or Nicky Chapple.

BSC 50/50 Lottery Update
The next monthly lottery will be drawn on April 8 at 19:30 in the Clubhouse by Sharon and her surprise assistant. There's over £210 in the pot.
The results of the February Lottery (drawn March 11) were Jennie Hallett (who won the Barry Bonus), Tom Reid, Alistair Boyd and Chris Gallagher. Congratulations to all!
To reduce the number of emails into everyone's inbox, lottery winners will be announced in the club newsletter.
We have a winner!
The BSC club draw, which runs every Saturday between 19:30 & 20:30, has been won!!
Peter Nicholson was our lucky winner! Well done Peter.
The club draw is for all BSC members aged 16 and over! Members names are automatically put into the draw bucket and a name is pulled out every Saturday night.
But remember, to win the draw you must be at the club when your name is called.
